Vichy Laboratoires kicked off this year’s Ideal Summer sun care campaign with an exclusive Summerscape event, hosted at Beechwood Gardens, Hyde Park, South Africa on Tuesday 29 November 2016.
The event was an opportunity for this internationally-renowned skin care brand to announce their brand new ambassador, Miss SA 2015, Liesl Laurie, with a particular focus on sun care protection through their Idéal Soleil range and the 3-in-1 Tinted Anti-Dark Spots Care SPF50+. Liesl Laurie will be the ambassador for South Africa, Brazil and USA.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce our partnership with former Miss South Africa 2015, Liesl Laurie. As ambassador for Vichy South Africa, we believe that Liesl embodies the values of the brand wholeheartedly, and understands the importance of health as a means to beauty. At Vichy, we understand that the human body is subjected to, and responds to complex exposures including environmental factors, our diet, lifestyle, and social influences. Awareness of these elements plays an important role in assisting us to fulfil our most beautiful selves. Liesl’s global approach to these exposome factors, together with her passion for active skin care make her a perfect fit for the brand, and we are very proud to welcome her to the Vichy family.” Says Florentine Ammer Brand Manager from Vichy South Africa.
“One of the biggest blessings of 2016 is being a part of a family that values my input, respects my views and has set out to make every woman feel comfortable in their own skin. I am so excited for myself and my Vichy family to grow from strength to strength and the opportunity of being the ambassador for such an extraordinary brand has created a whirlwind of excitement for myself and my family.” Says Liesl Laurie
