STEMME

Annelien Pienaar

Hannelie Van As

Reisiger, fotograaf, storieverteller…

Niks kom by ‘n langtafelkuier nie.

Adri Marais

A coffee addict, a full-time mom and a part-time ‘everything-else’. She has an MA in English Studies from Stellenbosch University and just completed her PhD, specialising in Feminist Revisionist Fiction, results pending… She has worked as a copywriter, a proofreader and an English lecturer, but in addition to her love of language, she has a special, hereditary weakness for all things beautiful. Designery | South Africa is the result of her decision to blog about that weakness.

Theunis Kruger

Prior to a new career in journalism, Theunis spent 6 years in the corporate environment and gained experience in various companies, ranging from Luxury brand management, Retail, Finance, Logistics, Import/Export as well as the freight and courier industries. Theunis earned both a BA and Honours degrees in Psychology. A strong technical background and highly analytical mind, he enjoys competitive marksmanship, carpentry, restoring vehicles and motorcycles in his spare time as well as exploring Southern Africa on two – and four-wheeled expeditions. He is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Johan Liebenberg

Johan has been a DEKAT contributor for over 16 years after a tenure as a corporate slave (copywriter) in the advertising industry. Johan says his columns won’t be so topic-driven – more like a quiet reflection and even intimate talk with the reader. For the past 10 years, he has been taking his own photographs for his articles. He writes for film as well as for TV.

Charleen Clarke

DEKAT motoring editor Charleen Clarke is one of the most well-known automotive writers in the country. A former South African Guild of Motoring Journalists president and Motoring Journalist of the Year winner, Charleen writes about cars and trucks for a host of South African magazines and websites. Furthermore, she is the South African judge for the Women’s World Car of the Year and she is also an associate member of the World Truck of the Year jury. She is the only journalist on the African continent to have achieved this honour.
